At Langenwalter, We Love All Things Traditionally Hoosier
From the Indianapolis 500 to the Little 500 and More.
To get many things about the state of Indiana, you have to be from here or have lived here for a while. Whether it’s Mellencamp, the IU/Purdue rivalry, Little 500, Amish country, or Holiday World, some things are distinctively Hoosier. If you’ve been to Bonge’s Tavern, St. Elmo, Steak n Shake, if you’ve played Sink the Biz at Nick’s, or if you prefer Red Gold to Heinz, you get it.
Involvement in our Hoosier Communities
At Langenwalter, we appreciate so many things about the Hoosier state. We are proud to work here, employ Hoosiers, and serve the local communities and neighborhoods in and around Indianapolis. We have been locally owned and operated since 1995 and actively support many local charities and organizations like the Humane Society of Indianapolis, Carmel Dad’s Club, and Riley Children’s Hospital, to name just a few.
Even though we appreciate the many different traditions, events, organizations, and charities of the Hoosier state, one of our favorite traditions remains the Month of May at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Once again, it is May in Indiana, which means it’s time for the Greatest Spectacle in Racing.
Indianapolis 500 Contest
To celebrate the 101st running of the Indianapolis 500, we will once again be conducting a contest. You don’t have to be a racing expert to win. Just check our Facebook or Twitter page the week after qualifications and pick who you believe will win the race. We will be giving away over $500 in prizes.
Like all things Hoosier, the race is tradition in Indiana. Make sure you visit our Facebook page and share your favorite race memory or your favorite thing about the Hoosier state. And as you get your patio ready to host a race party or the summer cookouts that will follow, remember that Langenwalter offers cleaning for your patio furniture cushions. We’ll help you get your patio looking great for the long, hot Hoosier summer!
