Step 1: Inspection

Our trained technicians will carefully hand inspect your rug for color bleeding, tears, holes, dye fading, abrasions, and pet contamination. All of this information is documented on our Area Rug Cleaning Inspection Sheet before the cleaning process begins.

Step 2: RugBadger System

The RugBadger is a powerful, portable machine designed to deliver over 40,000 penetrating harmonic vibrations per minute, deep into the back of the rug. It shakes loose any dry, heavy, damaging soil and sediments trapped both in the foundation and in between the rug fibers. This exclusive process removes all of the embedded particles before cleaning, including dirt, dust, sand, allergens, and hair. Each area rug is then thoroughly vacuumed front and back prior to steam cleaning.

Step 3: Steam Clean

Each Oriental or area rug is steam cleaned one at a time using the method most appropriate for that particular type of rug including fringe edges.

Step 4: Rinse & Dry

All excess moisture is extracted, and a rinse is applied to return the area rug fibers to their natural state. Area and Oriental rugs are then dried in a climate-controlled drying facility using air circulation. Every area rug is dried completely before final inspection.

Step 5: Final Inspection

As a last step, each area rug is again inspected to make sure that it’s thoroughly cleaned and completely dry. It is then rolled up and placed in protective packaging before being returned.
